Double Helix Games is an independant company that was previously a subsidary of Atari and before that a subsidary of Interplay.
Under Interplay, Helix was known as Shiny. When Interplay started to go bankrupt, Shiny went to Infogrames which then became Atari. When Atari started to go bankrupt, Shiny became an independant company.
Shiny then merged with The Collective to become known as Double Helix Games. They have not yet created an original game and have worked on IP's from other companies.
